大赛赛题:

"Smart" technology enables business
 
Smart technology is being developed and launched at an unprecedented speed. It is omnipotent as it is integral and crucial to business survival and success. It is ubiquitous as it can be found in different parts of business. It is multifarious, ranging from advanced machineries or devices, software and algorithm, to revolutionary business models that can increase the competitiveness of companies in the new digital economy.

The First "HEP"Cup Business Practice Contest requires students to explore how smart technology enables business. It requires students to:

1)identify one or more aspects that need improvements;
2)make a proposal that will address those aspects;
3)conduct investigation to justify the appropriateness and effectiveness of the proposal;
4)communicate the entire proposal in a presentation with the aim to persuade board of directors to invest in the project.

The contest emphasizes actual collaboration between a team of students and a partner company. The student team must venture out into the field and collect data. This should include visits to the central or the regional headquarter of the companies and in-depth meetings with leaders, employees, or customers of the company. In order to support the findings and recommendations, surveys should be conducted with relevant parties.


智能科技        助力商业
 
    智能科技正以前所未有的速度得到开发并被投入市场。它无所不能,因为它对企业的生存与成功至关重要且不可或缺;它无处不在,因为它存在于商业的各个领域;它形态多样,从先进的机器或设备、软件、计算方法等,到新数字经济中能够增加公司竞争力的革命性商业模式,形式不一而足。

本届大赛要求学生对智能科技如何能够助力企业进行探索。学生必须:

1.发现(企业中)一个或多个需要改进的方面;
2.针对那些方面提出一个建议书;
3.展开调研证明所提建议的适用性和有效性;
4.通过讲介沟通整份建议书的内容,旨在说服董事会投资该项目。

    大赛注重学生团队与协作企业之间的合作。学生团队必须亲临现场收集数据,包括拜访该公司的总部或者区域总部,与公司领导、员工或者客户进行深入会谈。为了验证调研的结果和建议,团队必须对相关人员进行抽样调查。
