雪容融以灯笼为设计原型，寓意包容互鉴、相知相融，代表着收获、喜庆、温暖和光明。同时融合了和平鸽、天坛、长城纹、如意纹样等满满中国元素，和冬残奥会主题特别契合。
Shuey Rhon Rhon is based on red lanterns and incorporates other traditional Chinese elements.It is one of the few Olympic mascots to be based on a self-luminescent object,which embodies a beautiful meaning of lighting up the way ahead,hopes and dreams,according to the design team.
雪容融的脸上有一道雪块(a splash of snow)，肚子的位置还会发出暖黄色的光。
"Shuey"的发音和中文"雪"的发音相同，后两个"Rhon"发音虽相同，但在中文中，第一个 "Rhon" 是包容的"容"，第二个"Rhon" 是融合的"融" 。
The word "quot;shuey"quot; is pronounced the same way as the Chinese character for snow.The first "quot;rhon"quot; implies inclusiveness,the second implies integration.
冰墩墩和雪容融两个吉祥物，一"冰"一"雪"，一红一白，一南一北，配合得十分巧妙。
雪容融的灵感创意出自于95后吉林大学生姜宇帆，她来自黑龙江省伊春市，这里春节时大街小巷都会挂起红灯笼和中国结。她深受家乡浓厚节日气氛影响，把记忆中红红火火的中国年投射到了创意中。
Born in 1998 in Yichun,Heilongjiang province,Jiang was influenced by the strong festive atmosphere in her hometown,where redlanterns hang everywhere.They became the inspiration for her design.
姜宇帆说，她希望雪容融可以温暖世界，点亮人们的梦想。雪容融体现了冬残奥运动员的拼搏精神和激励世界的冬残奥会理念。
Jiang said that she hopes her lantern will warm the world and light up people"#39;s dreams.It"#39;s a sentiment in line with the spirit of the Olympics and a necessary function of a good design.
谁能拒绝一个会叉腰和wink的红灯笼呢?希望大家早日实现"一户一融"。
